Tuning

Perhaps someone told you that a digital signal processor would help your sound system immensely.  You bought one, hooked it up, and then didn’t have a clue how to program it.  Or, perhaps someone else told you they knew how to do it, then proceeded to tune “by ear.”  They then password protected the system, and refused to reveal the password to you.  Huh?

Tuning your sound system with digital signal processing actually is essential for optimal use in most cases.   When done properly, it can often turn a mediocre system into one that sounds wonderful by comparison.   However, tuning by ear alone is risky, and is rarely done by true professionals.  G-Force techs have been trained in using both Smaart 6 and Smaart 7 by some of the brightest minds in the audio industry.  Smaart is a powerful and sophisticated tool used by professionals around the world.   It allows us to  see the inner workings of your sound system as it interacts with it’s environment.  Judgment calls are made  about the appropriate adjustments, and the results our evaluated with our ears.

If you’re in need of a new processor, or need to have the settings on your current one adjusted, please give G-Force a call.

Below is a picture of a rack full of gear that is prime for replacement.   One piece of equipment roughly 1/7th the size of what is pictured here will perform all of the same functions, do them all better, and cost less than these pieces originally cost.  Not to mention, it will be adjusted properly with a delay time closer to 14 miliseconds, rather than the 27.85 milisecond time that has been erroneously entered here.
